We are searching for a Sanitation Supervisor for our branch in Oxnard, CA. The ideal candidate must be looking for professional growth, enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, likes to be challenged, and values the opportunity to make a difference. This individual must possess direct and extensive sanitation experience in meat/poultry processing plants.

As the Sanitation Supervisor, you will play a significant role by ensuring that the food safety and sanitation guidelines are met, which is vital to sustaining our clients' profitability, reputation for quality, and most importantly, safe food production. This individual is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day sanitation operations, meeting all established levels of plant cleanliness and sanitation by implementing company sanitation policies, perform daily inspections, and manage the duties of a group of 60 sanitors.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and monitor the sanitation schedules
  • Create and distribute work schedules
  • Implement sanitation policies and protocols
  • Perform daily inspections of the manufacturing facility and report irregularities
  • Implementing corrective actions to ensure compliance with state and federal authorities
  • Oversee the preparation and use of cleaning chemicals
  • Conduct/oversee sanitation and safety and chemical training for new employees
  • Motivate, coach, and encourage staff to reach their maximum potential
  • Carry out management responsibilities following our best company practices, policies, procedures, and applicable laws
  • Guarantee total satisfaction with our clients through excellent work ethic and communication
  • Attending weekly meetings with our clients is mandatory
